Lay mats directly onto a clean, flat base — concrete, tarmac, compacted soil or gravel. Mats can be loose-laid or secured with ground pegs for permanent installations. For play area use, ensure mats cover the full fall zone around equipment as defined by EN1177. Joins should be kept tight to prevent trip hazards.
MAINTENANCE
Brush off debris and leaves regularly. Hose down or pressure wash as needed. Mats are UV stable and frost resistant — suitable for year-round outdoor use. No sealing or specialist products required. Inspect periodically for signs of wear or displacement.
